Springy or Plunger

So I plan on purchasing an IFL recurve and I want to try shooting from a rest. I am just not sure if I should go with a springy or a setup using a plunger.

I will be using this setup for primarily hunting, and am wanting something pretty tough and reliable

You will do better posting in the traditional archery section.

I can tell you for hunting I prefer to just shoot off the shelf, even on ilf setups. I'll build up the shelf, use a shaved down matchstick to adjust the centershot if need be.

But I'm far from an expert on the trad stuff. I just fling arrows, usually they find the mark.

That's pretty helpful. I've only started seriously shooting trad for about 6 months or so. Keeping it as simple as possible is probably the best choice until I really get my form dialed in
