Had the itch last night to make a calling stand. Wind was blowing pretty good but decided to go make one stand anyways. Had this female come right in. Pretty good hide on her for the 9th of October. Might have to make a few more stands tonight

It went into the freezer whole. Still finishing my newest skinning machine up.

Decided to make another stand last night. Had this big male come in straight down wind of me. Hit him a little far back and he made about a 75 yard run into some deep sagebrush where I seen him drop. Had a hell of a time finding in last night so I came back first thing this morning. Brought the shotgun incase I flushed out some grouse. He’s a heavy bugger. Exactly 40lbs on the scale
