As a prescription glasses guy, I got a pair of prescription transition lenses (brand name of the frame is Liberty), and absolutely love them! I just wear them the whole trip in the field and never worry about swapping pairs (my backup pair stays in the case in my pack). They look goofy as hell when the lenses are clear, but they work pretty well in the sun and I don't have to worry about going back and forth. They also offer a good bit of eye protection and even have detachable side shields for when you are at the range and want a little more protection. If you rely on glasses to see (like me), never go into the field without a strap. Doesn't matter how much it bugs you, find a good strap that will work. Less important if you can still see without glasses, but ya, I won't go anywhere without a strap. And yes, I know I look like a giant goober walking around with my clear transition lenses in a sunglass frame and floating strap, but hey, I can still see so...
