Bergara makes the BMR. I have one that I haven’t shot yet but it feels pretty nice, threaded for a can/brake.

I'm partial to CZ rimfires. I have 452, 453, 455's, & 457's.
17M2, 17HMR, & 22lr.

I even got my 7 & 9 yr olds a CZ 457 Scout.
I have SWR Spectre, Thunder Beast .22 TD, & DA Mask

That cz with the manners stock looks pretty awesome.

I absolutely adore mine. I’ll be grabbing a couple more 457 variants this fall, the action is so smooth straight from the factory. I need a couple that are a bit easier to tote around than this one though ha

I love my CZ 455, it's whisper quiet with the suppressor and makes it easy to hear the impact of the bullets.

Personally I'd look at just getting the 77/22 suppressed, they're a great rifle.
Or if you are set on new, the Tikka T1x is a much better quality rifle than the Ruger American

I have a t1x in 17 and compared to the Ruger the fit and finish is not comparable. I also have a 77/22 I was able to get an extra barrel and have threaded. That setup is pretty BA as well. Maybe look for a takeoff barrel for the 77/22 and send that out to be threaded. I have a local smith that threads for $40.

Warne 7.3 steel rings, they're slim, strong and seem to be repeatable if taken off
Thanks, I’ve sort of been going down the rabbit hole with cz rifles this evening. I used to know some guys who had 455s and they hey would shoot some size groups with them. I’m sort of looking at that 16” varmint model with the manners stock.

That is a great looking rifle, I seriously considered a varmint but I'm more a walking hunter so went for this American.

Though next time I'm in town, I will get this .22lr barrel cut down and rethreaded at 16" to make it a little more handy as I was getting a little hung up exiting the truck today.
CCI Subs are whisper quiet, I bagged the first and the second came running over to see what had happened.

These plovers are a real pest towards people and animals

I like to walk while I hunt too but lots of my bird hunting is done from snow machine where I’m not walking much. Also looking for a quiet target practice option.

Tough call, cz trainer, or a t1x. Eventually I’ll probably get both, just trying to figure out what to get right now.

Which rifle is that? Dosent seem like cz currently offers anything suppressor ready other than the heavier versions. The American has a threaded barrel but it’s over 20” long.

This is the now discontinued 455 American with the 20" barrel which I think is a lot prettier than the current 457.
This is my 'pretty' rifle, for rough wet hunting I have an old beater Norinco .22.

Personally for winter hunting I'd go the stainless T1x, or another well reguarded rifle to look into is the Lithgow LA101, it's made in Australia and uses CZ magazines

Unfortunatly it seems like the stainless t1x isn’t available anymore. I havnt even been able to locate a used one.

The 457 scout I linked is suppressor ready, 16.5inch barrel and it has nice iron sights.

There is another model that comes suppressor ready as well…

Thought I’d update things.

I got the t1x, it’s insanely accurate with crappy cheap ammo. I was shooting clay pigeons at 175yd today and made a lot of single hole-ish groups without even really trying. My friend tried it out and went home and ordered one.

Here it is.
