Swarovrski vs Leica Durability

Pardon me if this question has already been asked but does one brand tend to be more durable then the other?

I’ve got Swaro ELs from 2002 and Leica Ultravids from 2005. Neither have gone back to the manufacturer for any issues. Both are excellent binoculars.

Yeah I have a pair of trinovids from 2002 and they are still going strong. I always wanted the swaro's but back then I couldn't swing them. Now I'm considering either the ultravids or the el's. I kind of know how my lecia's have held up and was wondering if the el's are as strong.

Both are really the top of the optics food chain and are made with the finest materials and quality control

Of the big three Leica has always had the best reputation for durability.

I have swaro els and they are very durable.

For years I had a set of leica 10x42 bn. Those were built like a tank.

Either are a good choice

Yep that's how I feel about my 8x32 bn's. But now I'm thinking I'd like to get the swarovrski el 10x42.
Actually if anyone has a pair in excellent / like new condition and wants to sell them I'd definitely be interested.

Good deals come up on the 10x42 els on here a lot.
