WTB Swarovski 8.5

hey guys I'm looking into Swarovski binos ...between el 10x42 and 8.5x42...anyone compare these 2 ? Ill be using a spotter so the binos are ride in my harness...im thinking wider field of view might be better...thoughts?

I had the same exact question last year and I ended up with 8.5x EL. The way it was explained to me was that you will not see any more game with a 10x than you would with a 8x. You will however have a wider field of view with 8x.

I like the binos a lot. I have used them to hunt Midwest. I had emailed Ron Spomer for his advice and here is an article by Ron talking about this very subject in great detail.
