Switching to a longer draw length

I currently shoot a Hoyt Carbon element g3 at 30". My bow arm has a significant bend to it. I am thinking about upgrading and going out to a 31"-32" draw. Has anyone here had regrets about switching to a longer draw length or had issue in a stand or ground blind?

Go to a reputable bow shop and get measured and shoot that draw length.

It just depends on what length you actually need. Everything from accuracy, feel, and hold are affected by draw length. Getting it correct for you is the starting place. I'd choose a bow with adjustable cams or mods and get it as close as you can, and then fine tune it from there.

When I adjust my draw length it’s 1/8” type adjustments. Certainly fractions of an inch. Adding 2 inches on a whim is nuts. A bent bow arm could be form related rather than incorrect draw length. Get measured and get it right.
