T3 Top Lid Pocket

Turns out I may be a bit OCD and going from 4 pockets on my old MR Dragonslayer to just 2 on my T3 was causing some clutter - no bueno. Considering they do not make a XTL or longhunter lid for the T3 (both are more than I was looking for anyway) I got to looking at a chamber pocket and and the existing top lid and figured why not.

Basically all I did was sew either side of the chamber pocket to the inside seams on the top lid so no stitches are visible from the outside and it fits like it grew there. After I got it sewed in and liked it I ended up cutting off the 3 bar sliders since they will no longer be needed.

Good idea and it looks good!

I never had much use for that T3 lid anyways. I ditched it and took the standard lid from my T1 and put it on, I like it more and I personally think it fits the pack better than that tiny little T3 flap. You definitely made yours more useful!
