I would rent for a while. Figure out where you want to buy, wait for the housing market to come off the pandemic highs.

I don't exactly have to resign, my supervisor has been helping me with finding a job out west as well as speaking to my new supervisor when he called checking references. My supervisor is only mad that I didn't get him a job too.


Renting is what we are starting out at.

Go where you want. You can work things out once you get there. Moving back to arizona after being in Michigan for a few years was the best decision I made.
