Tent Condensation

I have a Kelty Salada. Stayed last night in it and I got down into the upper 50s. I had the rain fly on but just kind of loose to maintain some ventilation. The inside of the rain fly developed a ton of condensation (maybe because it was loose?) as well as the outside of the tent. None inside so I was happy about that but if I rubbed the inside of the tent it felt a little damp..down by the ground. Not wet but cool and a very slight damp. Is this normal with all tents.
