Been hunting for decades and hanging out here for a few months. Have walked for miles in pursuit of ruffed and sage grouse, sharptail, pheasant, quail, and huns. Shot my share of woodcock, snipe, goose, duck, and crane. Put whitetail, blacktail, elk, antelope, and axis on the table. Taken turkey when the luck was with me. I hunt wild pigs a lot here in Texas - they're a scourge and we get a bounty for the tails in addition to the meat. Picked up a bow for the first time a couple of years ago and killed 2 bear in Alberta 6 weeks later with it. Now it seems I hunt with everything but a spear. I regularly travel to Wyoming, Kansas, Wisconsin, Idaho, Oregon, California, South Dakota, Canada, and other places to try my skills. Glad to be here and hope I can share some of what I've learned through the years.
