I just wanted to share these pics of my 2nd and best Muley buck. I wanted to thank everyone on the forum. I wouldn't have been successful without the knowledge I've gained from this group. Also thank you to Robby Denning for his great book. It really helped. Anyway thanks everyone and here is my buck. Im really proud of him.

did you kill that bad boy road hunting in your side by side?

It certainly looks that way from the pic doesn't it. Yes we were using the side by side as the unit i was in is cut with roads on blm everywhere but no I didn't shoot him from the road and side by side. We were glassing from a point about 800 yards above. Spotted him in the aspens and watched him feeding, chasing does, and pushing smaller bucks out of the area. Eventually he followed some does into that bottom near the road. I had to make a stalk from the glassing point above through all sage brush. The last hundred yards I was crawling/sliding and slowly popping my head up to keep tabs on him. I got to 200 yards and took my shot. He started to run back up into the aspens and then when he really started struggling turned back and came right down to the road. It was actually a really fun stalk that shredded my puffy pants 😬. Definitely a brutal packout lol 😆 😅 😂 🤣
