Good evening.

I've just ran into a snag - a forum member sent me a PM in response to an item I have for sale in the classifieds, and the item is now sold pending funds. However, because I was the last person to post in the thread, it won't let me post a "sold pending funds" because of the 24-hour bump rule. Is there a better way to do this?

Ask them to reply to the thread so you can then reply Or edit the title to mention SPF.

I have asked buyers to post in the thread that they will take it so others know.

Just go to the original post and edit the prefix and mark sold.

i always edit the prefix to SOLD. then it will lock the thread from other replies.

The "bump" rule is that you do not reply to your own thread on a classifieds forum more than once in a 24hr period.
Basically you can't keep posting TTT, or up, or whatever, to bump your topic to the top of the page.

Yep....and then go to the upper right and click to lock the thread. Like below.

Technically it isn't sold until funds are received, but one can always "unsell" it if the buyer backs out.
