I hear the used car market is up 45% and new cars are worth more after you drive em off the lot. Welcome to bizaro-land.

And everything you said above about bronc's is true.

For real lol..

New truck is 60k, used one with 170k miles is what, 20ish? Makes no sense. I'm seeing rusted junker broncos that burn oil for sale for 5-7k, and nice ones 10k+.

Bang my head on a wall.

Trump's fault. He's been busy. The Delta variant, Afghanistan, lumber prices and gagillions in "infrastructure." The great thing is he's paying people not to work.

I sure wish Biden could implement his platform and fix Trump's mess.

All the issues that you listed. Are the issues on the old ones or the new ones. My wife keeps talking about how she wants one when they become more available.

You aren’t kidding, both of these sold in a week!

In 1995 I bought a 1975 (20yo) F250 for $1500, was nice cheap truck for high school, considering I made $300 a week, so about 5 weeks pay for a high school student. Now those trucks are 10x as much, HS students making 4-600 a week depending on the gig. So 2x salary, 10x cost. Pretty rough

I've had 6, 4 that were nice, 1 that wasn't, and 1 that was very modded. Never paid anywhere near that lol

She wants a new yuppie one. Not the old school OJ one.
Can't say I blame her, I'd take a 2 door if i had pockets.

Trying to find a 94-95 with a 302 and a 96 with a 351w is like finding bigfoot, and they just cost so much. My supercharged V10 6 speed manual F250 wasn't much more then some of these clunky old broncs.

All of this might be true, but Broncos carry a legendary status.

I've never met anyone that doesn't love Broncos and get excited when they see one.

The OJ chase definetly helped attract more attention, and they are plain awesome looking. Aside from the upgradeable problems you listed they run forever with a 302 or 351.

I'm keeping my options open to getting one instead of a pick up in the next year or so.

Meh, I'd go 7.3 excursion with the right mods and try to kill it....you'll need to pack a lunch.

Mine rides pretty good.
Agreed but can't finance 7.3s, and those leafs will break your back in half.
Have you been up ruby creek to the nose? My old girl just crawled up no problem and then held 45 down snow creek back out. It is my favorite so far. I have a fully locked up cj7 and locked up lx450 and choose the excursion most.

I haven't (I think lol)

My F250 was on 38s and locked up, even aired down to 18lbs in the mtns I just didn't like it after a few years. Looking fot a Bronco for a hunting vehicle and for some campin, that being said, my dream truck is another V10 powered Ford but 2005+ CCSB this time.

I just have a soft spot for Bronco's and their turning radius, along with the comfort, makes Panhandle Idaho roads enjoyable.

I am also in Sandpoint, and I also have a Bronco.
It's a 96 with only 90k miles and is in excellent shape, people try to buy it ALL THE TIME.

It has the 351, re-geared to 4.88 and she's still a turd. The new Bronco with the 2.3 4 Cyl would smoke it. :(

I love my old Bronco, but I want a new 4 door Base model with the Sasquatch package
