Every once in awhile I’m allowed to take the Hobbit Rifle for a walk.

The two goat crew did some solid work as well. Two billies on ice ready for the loooong pack home.

Shouldn’t there be a folding feature on those stocks to make them even more compact for packing? Or am I missing something?

You can buy the folding buffer tube adapter. But they weigh more, and the 20” barrels and collapsible stock already fits into my pack...so why make it thicker and take up more volume in that one spot? At least that’s my train of thought anyways.

Contender and Encore's are great! Cool build and with the ease of a barrel change you can carry multiple guns in the field. Glad to see kids being raised as hunters, good job!!!

Couple more pics from last night. On the steel plate you can really pick out the two copper impacts from Ben’s 6.5CM as they left behind deposits. This was at 505 yards and shot from the position where Ben is laying.

I really wish there was a quick way to share short videos. There was a rock shot from 400 yards that Ben and I almost keyholed with a round from each of our guns. Pretty neat to watch through the Novagrade and Kowa setup.
