I paid 34k new for my 16 tacoma, I was offered 32k for it with 90k hard miles last month.

It'll be interesting to see how the zr2 holds up long term..

Yes my 09 is worth more now than what I paid for it originally.

I came across a 2022 Tacoma SR5 4WD crew cab I think I’m going to buy. The big Ford F-350 CC I have is a little too big and stout for all the back country hunting I take it on so it’s going to be a horse and equipment hauler only. Anyone have any experience with a Tacoma SR5 as a hunting truck ? Off road, rough 2 tacks….no mans land type driving.
it will be fine, just put good tires on it. the trd offroad (i have had several) are nothing special, you are better off slowly upgrading yourself if you want better performance as far as suspension and stuff.

I've got a 2020 TRD Off Road. Bought it right before COVID hit. Dealer keeps calling me offering me $7500 more than I paid for it.

Anyways, I love it. With an SR5 I think all you're really missing is the CRAWL control, which I haven't even used yet. Then again, I hunt early season archery so never really got into nasty snow.
