Just a few questions for you CO pro bowhunters. Are archers required to wear orange during the elk muzzloader season? Also, how do you guys navigate the muzzload "crowd" as their season falls right at primetime? I'm trying to decide when to plan my trip this year and avoid them as much as possible. Or is this a non-issue?

Non issue as far as I am concerned, have been there during the beginning and end of muzzie, and only ever ran into 1 muzzie hunter.

Depends on where you're hunting, but to answer your question, NO, you don't need to wear orange.

And camo really helps when you want to mess with those pesky ML hunters.
They are SO easy to call in!

i hunt a heavily populated OTC unit in CO right thru muzzy season when i don't draw. this year will be no different. i find the pressured elk in non pressured areas doing what elk do. living, breeding and hopefully dying with my arrow thru the vitals.
