Thoughts on Zeiss Gavia

I am looking hard at this scope and strongly considering picking one up if I can find a good deal. I have read most of the threads on here about these scopes, seems a pretty good split between good for the price and look elsewhere. I havent seen much in the way of where the scope may be lacking (edge to edge, usable magnification, etc). For anyone who has used it, any of the big hits and misses of this scope would be appreciated. I can say I looked through an older diascope and though the center was good, I thought the edge to edge was lacking.

From the reviews i read, i believe the kowa 770 is still better with FOV and brightness. Even though it is 85 mm it acts more like an 80 according to the birders. I haven't looked thorough it though and still looks like a nice scope

I believe there is a few good reviews on youtube with head to head comparisons.
I want to say Vortex HD Razors beat out the gavia, so I would go with a hard pass.
