Well with the fires in california burning down my hopes to go bear hunt, I think I'm going to focus on Colorado for this year. I think I'd rather go hunt the mountains than shoot something in a pen here.. or die from mosquitoes lol.

That said, I've been looking at sw colorado. If anyone wants to share tips or possibly meet up shoot me a pm.

Forgot to say, will be my first time hunting Colorado. I've gone to colorado springs with my family, although my wife was terrified on the barr trail before I had to turn around. Fitness won't be an issue..

i'd just keep flipping through the threads on here, there is loads of good information on this forum for hunting Colorado for the first time and you'll be in good company. Sounds like you knocked the biggest hurdle out which is fitness.

Been looking in the southeast end of unit 70. Have a pin down in the uncompaghre near Norwood as well.

I figure fitness is always relative. I "can" run 13 miles. It will never be fun 😁
