how inaccurate would you say is not very accurate? 1.5 MOA?

My def of "not that accurate" is the absolute very best ammo I can find getting a rare 3-round 1" group to just barely meet the "accuracy guarantee", and normally shooting 1.3-1.5" 5-round groups--but really struggling to find any premium factory ammo that will group better than 1.5" 5-round groups at 100, with most ammo pushing 2" or even more. Love my tikka and even though I think they suffer from a bit of unrealistic fanboy-ism it seems mine's a little bit of an anomaly, as it's no more accurate than my beat-up old 7600 pump gun.

What is ur coal on ur sons tikka 140 load

Both (120gr. and 140gr.), are factory loads and both are 2.800".

These have worked well for us on elk, deer and antelope.

Believe it or not the cheap Hornady Whitetail shoots pretty darn good in our gun.
