WTT Tikka CTR Stock for T3 Stock

I have: Tikka CTR stock, bottom metal, and mag.

I want: Tikka T3X or T3 stock and bottom metal and mag.

Anyone interested in trading?

Does everything just directly swap from CTR to T3?

I always liked the idea of the CTR barrel profile in a T3 package, especially if using a SWFA scope. They’re ass heavy otherwise.

In order to run the CTR with T3 mags, you need a magazine retaining clip. Its the little thin aluminum shim that attaches to the trigger and locks the T3 mag into place. I lucked into finding someone doing the opposite - going T3 to CTR, and didn't need the retaining clip.

I'll send you some photos, or just start a fresh thread, once I have the CTR barreled action moved over to a T3 stock. Takes a little opening of the barrel channel, but other that that and the retaining clip, its an easy swap around.

So the CTR bottom metal is all that’s needed for the CTR mag, I.E. just remove the clip?

Along with the stock of course.

CTR's don't come with the retaining clip.

So yes, to make a T3 lite barreled action work with the CTR DBM, all you need is a stock cut for the CTR bottom metal, the DBM and the mag.

If you want to put a CTR barreled action in a T3 stock and use T3 mags, you need a spare mag retaining clip.
