I bought a Tikka T3X less than a year ago from Whittaker for $629 and now it looks like they are nearly $900? I got the tip on whittaker from this forum so seeing if you guys have any ideas on where to buy another one or two and who has the best pricing. thanks.

Yep. Berretta put a stop to that pricing and raised the rates.

i think they went to MAP pricing. not sure if calling whitacre would get you a better price? also check out gunbroker where they seem to be a little cheaper.

Sportsman's has the superlite for 750 which is a good deal. I still find the smaller dealers selling the blued t3x for 570 and less sometimes.

One time in the central highlands of Ceylon i found a smoking deal on tikkas. Couldn't pass them up 40 Rupiah each. IMG_1287.JPG

I didn’t take the price increase warning seriously enough last summer. I wish I’d ordered one in 300wsm one in 223 and a 30-06.

I got a 30-06 back in 2009 for less than 400 dollars and didn’t think much about it. I don’t ended up selling it for about what I paid for it. I should have kept it.

Agreed, I didn’t see the price hike either and if I would of know would have bought a few for my sons for the future. Probably still not a bad play at 800 each. I was going to pick up a left hand 6.5 but now much just wait and by the boys a RH 6.5.

just a few weeks ago i got a lefty t3x stainless 300wsm off gunbroker for $800 shipped, def above prior pricing but not too bad, sure they're others out there.

back in april when i checked at whitacre's it was $730 and not sure what shipping was if any.

I was in the market for a 6.5 last summer, ignored the warning from Whitaker’s and overnight they went from like 550.00 to 750.00. Sportsman’s had a sale so I got one for 650.00
