Not a new rifle but I recently finished it up with an XLR Element 4.0 and TiPro muzzle brake. It's a 6.5-06 Ackley Improved in a 28" McGowan barrel. Chambered by Whaley. Barrel and action coating by Sowa. I've also added a metal bolt shroud and two-stage Timney trigger. It's topped off with a 5-25 Nightforce ATACR enhanced.

Looks loud!

I shot a tikka for steel matches this year, 26” bartlein 6.5 creedmoor for the tube sitting in a manners t6a with their mini chassis. Can’t say I had any complaints with the rifle. Plan on using the same next year with a little more scope than the nx8 I used this year.

I really want to try an xlr envy, like how close the chassis flat butts up to the mag well, it’s on my list of things to get, unfortunately probably won’t happen next year.

Yeah, the Tikka T3 is a really good base for a budget target rifle. Since 2018 my son and I have shot PRS matches in Australia with rifles built around a Tikka action.

The two actions with left hand bolts, to the left side of the below photo are my sons and mine. They both shoot extremely well.

.....I think we have different budgets...

Nonetheless, I want one. Shot my first two PRS matches this month with an AR gas gun. Did terrible, but had fun and learned..
