Is there an adjustment for the Duplex Timberline belt's angle? There are two angle straps on each side at kidney location. If I unhook the bag and rehook to the frame the bag dangles. Are the original Timberlines more rigid? Is there a downside due to this? Is there a video tutorial for new/first time users regarding proper setup/adjustment? Don't get me wrong, I have carried many packs many miles. I am just looking for some direction and I will run with it.

Run the delta straps to the bags Instead of the frame. The bag will stay in place When they're cinched down.

I think Aron went over the straPs in one of the videos he did on the duplex timberlines.

Here is Aron putting the bag on the frame. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLIszRyxNkk

If I am reading your question right you are asking about the two straps near the bottom of the bag that connects to the belt right?
On my non duplex Timberline they are not rigid unless the pack is loaded. I keep them pretty tight (when loaded) compared to my wife as she prefers a looser feel.

Guess I should have added I had the same concern the first time I put my DT1 on the frame, thought the bag would shift around on the frame since the bottom of the bag isnt atatched to the frame. Once I loaded up the pack, put it on and snugged up all the straps it was solid.
