My friend and I are heading out for the Oct. 10th Idaho rifle season from Michigan. We were planning to meet a friend who is very experienced but now he has a work conflict and can't get out there until Thursday.
I have been looking at the area south of Clark fork. Would anyone be willing to give me some pointers or even some general areas? I am not looking for a trophy bull. Just want to have the best odds of bringing home some meat for the family and having a great time. We'll be driving out and planning to camp near the truck for the most part.
