No ice cold water. It had actually been in my pack a couple of days. Bladder is a 2L camelback the blue kind

I had a goof once with my Camelbak; I put my fully loaded back in the trunk of my sedan before I left for a scouting trip. When I got to the trailhead and retrieved my pack, it was soaked. The bladder was sealed up fine, couldn't replicate the leak. Then I realized that the lock on the bite valve was not engaged. The weight of the pack against the valve (with the contents against the bladder) was enough to drain the bladder. Luckily it was summer and I was able to dry everything out and I had extra water in the trunk. Now I always lock it out after I use it!

A bladder in a pack is asking for trouble if you ask me. I know tons of guys do it for x number of years but soaking gear is not cool 6 miles back. I run a nalgene in and fill up later. Bladder always goes between frame and pack (sg talus).
