I got into this archery addiction (grin) about a year ago. I promptly had a Bear Montana longbow riser blow up on me. That convinced me to go deeper in the pocket and order a Toelke Whip. Went with a 64" Whip, 40# at 28". What a nice bow.

Anyhoo, recently I got around to doing some chrono testing to see exactly what was going on speed wise. My draw is 31", so probably around 48# on my fingers.

Summary of average velocities,

335 gr - 203 fps
394 gr - 197 fps
492 gr - 186 fps
576 gr - 175 fps

I've been dabbling in YT video lately, so figured I share this with the velocity test, and some target practice.

Sweet! Yours is faster than mine, might be cause it's shorter, I have the same draw length but shoot 66". I've shot some 64", they just get a little tighter to draw than I like at 31", but maybe I need to revisit them!

Love my Whip. It’s 62” and I draw 30.5”, which might be pushing it a bit. So far so good though. It would be fun to chrono mine. Nice job on the video BTW!
