As I mentioned earlier, it wasn't that T/D with riser and limb options. It was the cheaper Bear takedown.

I ended up with the Coyote I wrote about earlier. I couldn't help it, almost like it was calling to me! Bought it off of Stickbow/leatherwall. South was right, on my draw board it pulls and loads consistently @ 2.5lb's for every inch past the 27" that is written on the bow. These are the spec's;
27" - 45.05
28" - 47.6
29 - 50.3
30" - 52.55
31" - 55.95
What a beautiful bow, no finger pinch. I've never held a bow that fit my hand like that - my grip is the same every single shot even with a cotton glove on (still a little chilly out, -19 in the am. The cotton really makes the bow slide with other bows, not this one. While I shoot this thing way better than I was anticipating I'm looking for some lighter limbs just for messing around, hoping to find some used ones in the 40lb range at my DL. Does anyone have some they want to part with? If I can't find some used I'll just order some from South, although new they cost more than I want to spend at this time.

Big Jim Bows are awesome, I ordered my 60" Buffalo TD and yeah it took like 12months to get, but sometimes it's best to be patient and wait, I frickin love this bow. He's a busy dude, but definitely worth the wait , 49lb @ 27".

If toelke isn’t the best company out there in terms of quality product and customer service then they are in the top 5 for sure. A guy could buy a Whistler and never need another bow.

I agree! I test drove a Wolverine, but the grip just didn’t fit my hand. The bow shot amazingly as do all of South’s bows! Then I tried a buddies Toelke and was hooked. 5 months later my Whistler showed up! That’s the beauty of traditional archery, there is a bow for everyone out there. Just have to find it.
