What's everyone one running scabbard on horses when your riding into your hunting area.

Is there such a thing? i've been looking around the web and doesn't seem to be much out there...

Personally I would have my bow on me.

^^^THIS^^^ I would never strap my bow to a horse, they can spook and snap your bow just like that. I want my bow on my person so I can hop off and be ready to go in seconds. Bow stays strapped to pack which stays strapped to me. If the horse runs off I have my essential gear. I read about a guy whose horse got spooked by a lion, tossed the rider and tore off. The guy died of exposure because he was nowhere near water and didn't have a thing on him to save himself.
