Anyone check their cams? Any prospects?

Ideally I try and check my cams early spring before the elk move to the high country. But that didn't happen this year. Oh well I doubt I made that much of an impact on them that'll effect September.

I had one "decent" bull come a wallow cam on Thursday. And another good bull late last Sept.

Pretty cool to know what's out there especially in dark timber and blow down where you can't glass.

But having a cam pic is completely different from actually finding them in season

Waiting till I go up to check my cams, It’s always a ton of fun seeing what those things capture, even if it’s not exactly the same bulls that you will be hunting, I know some bulls will live most of their life in the same drainage, but lots of them migrate for the rut

All, I'm getting is a fair amount of cows, calves, and spikes. I'm hoping bulls are higher in elevation and will come down closer to the Rut. Tradlife 406 you get after elk with just a stick and string?

Yep. Switched to a struggle stick about 10 years ago and haven't looked back. It was an easy switch because I sucked with a compound ha! So now I still suck just with less gear

Hoping to get a crack at this Oklahoma elk in October if he will stick around throughout the rut and give me a chance. Just curious what you guys think about this guy
