Trail head access

I am going down a deep rabbit hole scouting some areas for this fall. I have seen a few marked trails cut across private property. Is it safe to assume a forest service labeled trail is ok to take from public to public while carrying a bow? Not actively hunting but walking a marked trail to access a wilderness/ national forest area?

I would say yes. If it has a name/number assigned by the forest service, you can usually find a trail map and description on the forest service website that should list any special restrictions/requirements.
