Trekking Pole Straps

What I have: Black Diamond Trail Shock Trekking Poles
The problem: The straps come loose leading to temper tantrums.
The Solution: ?

I took the straps off before I even had them out of the packaging

I don't even put my hands through the straps.

If you slid something shaped like a nut over the strap you could use it to snug the strap to your wrist/hand once you put them on. Or, of course just don't use them if that works too.

Replace the straps with para cord then use a modified slip knot for your adjustment.

Not sure about that - just did not want/need them.
