I have the aluminum z-poles. Great lightweight poles, I bought them in an emergency cause I realized I forgot them after I was about 3 hours from home enroute to a sheep hunt and purchased a pair. Nice little poles for sure, but I prefer the cheaper standard aluminum ones that are 7 oz heavier, cause they are stronger and can be used as a center pole for my tipi.
