I didn't want to hi-jack the Trimming thread below, so I'll ask here.

When trimming your brass, how much deviation do you allow or does it matter so long as it's under the maximum case length? It's my understanding that if there is too much deviation in case lengths, it will cause pressure spikes.

It would take a huge difference in length to have any real effect on pressure. I like to trim mine to a uniform length a few thou under my shortest one simply in the name of uniformity. Example: if my shortest case is 2.034" and minimum length is 2.030", I'll trim em all to 2.032" as there's no advantage to trimming to minimum length, just more work.
