It is 95 degrees out today and I have been on this forum most of the day. Earlier today, I saw a thread with head I seemed to really like once I looked it up on line. Can’t find it in my search history, so I am just asking you guys. What head do you like and why?

I am using a Silk Carbon Fiber pro 635 tripod. As noted in another thread, I am in the market for a spotting scope but have not decide 65 or 80 mm yet. The head I have is really not ideal for a backpack.

Outdoorsmans costs more, but made in USA and lighter than the Chinese made Sirui. The regular pan head uses Outdoorsmans proprietary rail. The Jim White 2.0 and Fluid heads use ARCA. Really Right Stuff has a couple nice panning ball heads.
The BPC-16 is one of the lightest.

No better head for the $$ then the Sirui VA5 and with the promo we have this month you pay only $140.17 and get back another $21 from Sirui
