need to do more glossing off a tripod. As I do 0% now. So not sure what I want or need. Lighter weight for packing. Will be basicly sitting. No standing. Whats better, ball head or pan? 10x42's now with possible spotter down the road. Maybe 85mm but will deal with that if the time comes. Anyone got a starter they wanna part with. Not looking to get in too deep wise with a price tag.

I have a manfrotto befree that I may be interested in offloading. Comes with the ball head. PM me
