Trophy cam HD card picky

I have a Bushnell trophy cam HD that is several years old. It had a problem with not coming on with a card installed. I researched it and followed some of the recommended steps and got it to work again but now it will only use scandisk SD cards. Anything else and it says that the card is locked. Anyone have a cure for this issue?

Have you tried formatting the SD card on your computer first before putting in the trail cam?

Also on some SD cards there is a sliding lock on the side of the card that when slid will lock the card. I would check that too

As Timberlinehunter stated, make sure the slide on side of card is not in down position.

Sometimes if the card is to big aka too many gigs they wont work ether.

Yes I have formatted both on PC and on trailcam and double checked the lock. I'm glad that it even works now.
