I see many "I love me" photos of guys with gut shot pronghorns on most hunting sites. I can understand some guys with their photos of small bucks that give them such a sense of pride that they must share, but the gut shot critters probably should be kept private.

The ones that are hit "a little back" give me gas.

It's pretty sad but antelope are one of those species that it's possible to take long range shots in relatively flat, open country. As we all know wind howls in Wyoming and elsewhere in antelope country. It is definitely worth the time and respect to antelope to stalk up close and personal with humane shots! I prefer to brag at how close I can stalk to antelope rather than how far my shots are taken! I do everything in my power to stalk with 300 yards where I'm pretty much assured the buck is going to drop in his tracks!

I seem to have inadvertently offended some fans of the gut shot. Sorry for that. I still do not like to see photos of poorly shot game.
