Truck Tripod

Hi all I am looking for advice on a heavy duty truck tripod. What I mean by heavy duty is it will handle a heavy spotting scope, wind and have good height all while being in the extended standing position. I have a tripod and head that works great for carrying around the hills but want one that’s stouter for the pickup. I have a buddy who has a fiesol that is sturdy as could be but doesn’t have a center column and is pretty darn expensive both of which are not on my wishlist. Let me know what you guys are using successfully for this purpose. Advice is appreciated!
