Turkey camo and calls

I've most have said Camo is Key..yes I have been picked off by a bird because of my camo..now with that said I was using the original Realtree from the late 80's early 90s and the hen was maybe 3 yards. Not sure if it was my outline she picked up on or my heart racing!! Either way, switched over to a leafy style mesh jacket(havnt found one like it in a longntime) and have had zero issues.
I have have used kuiu also with luck..I really just comes down to matching your camo to your surroundings.
As far as calls. I like Woodhaven,zink and mountain hollow. I really like mountain hollow the best. But Woodhaven and zink I buy at my local sportsman's
