Any suggestions on a good turkey fryer to use as a basecamp stove for boiling water to reheat vacuum packed home cooked meals in? We boil the water and throw in say vacuum sealed chili, just to reheat it. The stove will also be used for boiling animal heads in the field (in a different pot!) due to CWD issues (can't transport brain or spine from a CWD area to another part of the state).

Pretty much just want something that can be adjusted to simmer for the heads and has a good wind screen - I can rig something up for the wind, but it would be nicer if I didn't need to screw around with it to find something that works when there are 100 other things to worry about.

Don't want to spend a ton, but don't want a piece of junk either.

Thanks!

My father in law grabbed a cheap one from cabelas years ago. Hooked to a 20lb tank its done over 80 skulls, astronimical amounts of corn, and quite a few turkeys

+1 for cabelas. Cheap. Use mine 1-2x a year so buying something more expensive didn’t make sense.
