Ultralight Glassing pad/pillow/shooting bag

Super comfortable and dynamically versatile. Made of water resistant 500 D cordura with waterproof non-slip rubberized nylon for ground facing side. Filled with ultralight foam beads that will not crush and are silent. Brand new fill to the market in these bags.

Ultralight at about 8 ounces and replaces a couple pounds of other gear.

Sitting pad for glassing.
Pillow for sleeping.
Rear bag for shooting.
Support bag for positional shooting.

7x7x6 folded 7x14x3 flat

I will probably make a larger sized one, but this is about the smallest size I think that balances weight to usefulness for backcountry. I will never pack, camp or hunt without it ever again.

For day excursions from the truck, a Cadillac sized version would be nice, and wouldn't weigh much more. Maybe 8x9x3 and 9x16x3 flat. Just make the cushion a little deeper for seating and add a little width so it is 2" bigger all around.

I use this 12x12 glassing pad now but this definitely looks more fictional at multiple tasks and at basically the same wieght. Double win. Great idea

Spex-Lite 5524B, I have been playing with it since it was first marketed in 2019. It is a closed cell foam, and doesn't compress over time like the old white beads.

Folded up, it is a cube for higher rear support. If I needed lower, I flatten it out and grab a corner for elevation.

I use a Phoenix Shooting Bags brand rear bag for my rear bag and midday napping needs but this looks like something else I'll have to strap to the pack.
