Unit 54/55 Colorado

Limited draw.... Ewww.

I have hunted the east side of 54 and some of 55 but now they are both draw units so you can only hunt one or the other. Got a 5x5 in 54 last year.

Tracker is rite. Both are draw units. doesnt take any points in 54 archery though. There elk in both units. I dont any thing about 55.

Seems like theres plenty of left overs for archery season every year... tough unit to hunt and keeps alot of guys out on the east side due to the fact a guy has to put the boots to work to kill elk.

Unless I missed something all the leftover tags went REAL quick. None available anymore. I don't think any went on sale online.

They always do go quick when they come up for sale, most are picked up by locals and outfitters... The point I guess I was trying to make is they don't all get eaten up in the draw since they turned 54 into a draw unit excluding 2nd and 3rd rifle seasons.
