Just curious on some opinions,
I'm scheduling approx. 4, weeklong hunts this year out west. We've already narrowed down one hunt that's a guaranteed draw in Utah. However, if you had to choose between a 4-point hunt in Colorado for archery elk or burn 4 points for 3rd season deer what would you do? I'm banking on some random tags being drawn in my group, so these are my main options. Also, the deer hunt would be geared towards a family trip with my dad while the archery will certainly be a grind with my normal crew. I've never hunted deer that late so my expectations for both hunts are fairly low.
Thoughts?
Thanks guys,
Travis
