Unsure which way to go on SO Silvertip

Planning to get a Silvertip but cant make up my mind on if I want to get one with the stove jack or not.
elk hunt is going to be early Archery in CO and with me never have been there I am unsure of the weather at that time of the year.
if anyone has any advise on the weather that time of year that would help me figure out which way to go would be a huge help.

I would say no , if you are not going past mid Sept.

I would also recommend the Silex, if going solo. Lighter, nicer nest integration if you use it elsewhere like the east or someplace buggy . Has fewer stake out points and at the very upper end of performance it may not be as good due to less stake outs, but you can also just use 4 better stakes like twisty if you really want to anchor it. Will handle 40 -50 MPH without issue as long as it is staked well
