Hello all,
New to the forum.
I have a son who just finished hunter safety and drew out for the youth bull elk. It starts on September 12. Any suggestions on where is a good location?
Being this early in the year I’m kind of lost.
Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hello all,
New to the forum.
I have a son who just finished hunter safety and drew out for the youth bull elk. It starts on September 12 and we have scoured a bunch of areas near Strawberry, current creek, Duchesne and have had no luck finding a herd. Any suggestions on where is a good location?

Not sure if this is a joke, but you CANNOT hunt limited entry units with a youth tag. Read the regs and be a responsible adult mentor to your son.

Did I say or imply anything about limited entry. Do not try to patronize me or assume I'm not being responsible.
Just looking for help...not a lecture.

Yes, you did: Strawberry and Current Creek are in a limited entry elk unit.
