For me, this is a rather useless update, I don't see the point in this. Instead of coming up with unnecessary updates, banks should think about how to better protect our credit cards from scams. Every year, cases of fraud occur more often. Recently I came across an article about how fraudsters can steal money from another person's card using the cashapp carding method. And it's not really that hard. I suggest you to put two-factor authentication on everything and always to put different passwords, in order to protect your data.
