lucky to have drawn this tag this year. looking for any help with scouting. every report says that its very pocketed. any advice? anyone hunted it before or know where the goats like to hang out come october?

Haven't heard from you.

Keys on this hunt: get there a day early to get an idea of where everything is. Have your walk in access validation (free). Key in on the east side of the unit, a bunch of BLM you can access. I saw antelope on the WIA area and a bunch on the BLM between it and the private land boundary to the north a few miles. Quite a few small bucks (shorter than ears), so know your target before you shoot. Really cool country. And lots of good fishing in the mountains above Ferron and Huntington.
