Have shot a lot of Varget in .308 with 185 and 200 gr bullets. It gives good temperature stability. I have found it can have variation in burn rate/ velocity from lot to lot. I think the most I have had to adjust to get velocity back to where it was is about 1/2 grain.

22-250: 40gr Varmagedden @ ~3900
7mm-08: 120gr TTSX @ ~2940 or ~3000 (still working on this one) with 18" barrel
30-06: 125gr Accubonds @ ~3210

All are plenty accurate for my hunting ranges!

I use it in my model 700 22-250 shooting 55 grain BlitzKings. Shoots great out to 400. That's as far as I've taken it. I also tried it while experimenting with my 7mm08 with great results. I will be testing it more extensively in the future.

For many years H-4895 was my all around powder, it gave good accuracy in my 308 but Varget produced incredible groups. As the fellow with the 9,3 is also happy with it I will give it a whirl in my 35 Gibbs.

I run it with 120 Ballistic Tips in my wife’s 7-08. I did some load development with it and 130 Accubonds in my 6.5 Creedmoor. Accuracy was good but velocity left a lot to be desired.

I go through about 16 pounds per year of it in our 308's. Love the temp stability it has. After using Varget I've started using a lot more of the Hodgdon Extreme powders

When Varget first came out I remember it being called an improved version of 4064. I always liked 4064 in my 7-08 but have since switched to Varget with excellent results.

I use Varget in my 22-250s and my 9.3x62 with great results........temperature stability is important here.

The other sleeper powder I've come to really like is RL16 in Creedmoors and 270.......great temperature stability and copper removing additive.
