Velvet buck hunt for next year?

What is the best state for a non resident to try to get a velvet buck in? Oklahoma does not have a season early enough but I noticed Nebraska and Tennessee both open up early enough to have that possibility. Any others that do not take years of draws to get the chance at a velvet buck?

You don't wanna hunt public in that zone you would be wasting your time...all the deer on on private ag fields. Public land can't compete with 1000s of acres of peanuts and soy beans.

It is worth noting that MANY of the lowcountry SC deer had shed velvet by 8/25 this year. But the opener still gives fair amount of time to kill a velvet buck. Just be wary of all the shady ass outfitters down here.
